Trailers samples the title sequences, trailers, theme songs and publicity shots for twenty out of some forty film and television adaptations of Louis Cha/Jin Yong’s The Condor Trilogy.  The work intercuts these with Google street views, weaving together fantasies of fight/flight, and the post/colonial in diaspora.

Commissioned for RoCH Fans and Legends (solo exhibitions at QUAD, 2015, and CFCCA, 2016), Trailers was selected for the 62nd Oberhausen International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (2016) and screened as part of the Videotage / Art Basel Crowdfunding Lab Art Basel HK (2016), Viennale 2016 (Vienna International Film Festival), Both Sides Now III – Final Frontiers (Videotage, Hong Kong and videoclub, UK, 2016–2017) and China Remixed (Indiana University, Bloomington, 2017).
